TL;DR — SiteBlocker collects absolutely zero personal data. Everything is stored locally on your device. We have no servers, no analytics, no tracking.
Data Collection
SiteBlocker does NOT collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. Specifically, we do not collect:
- Personally identifiable information (name, email, address, age)
- Health, financial, or payment information
- Authentication information (passwords, credentials)
- Personal communications (emails, messages)
- Location data or IP addresses
- Web browsing history
- User activity (clicks, keystrokes, mouse movements)
- Website content (text, images, videos)
Local Storage Only
All extension data is stored locally on your device using Chrome's chrome.storage.local API:
- Your list of blocked websites
- Extension settings (strict mode, mindful mode, schedules)
- Focus session timers
- Daily productivity statistics (block attempt counts, estimated time saved)
This data never leaves your browser. There are no analytics, telemetry, tracking pixels, or external API calls of any kind.
Permissions
The extension requests the following browser permissions, used exclusively for local functionality:

Third-Party Sharing
We do not:
- Sell or transfer user data to third parties
- Use or transfer user data for purposes unrelated to the extension's core functionality
- Use or transfer user data to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes
Changes to This Policy
If this privacy policy is updated, the changes will be posted to this page with an updated revision date.
